Since the launch of our first fund in 2008, the Cypress Point team has been working to identify the emerging technology disruptors and innovators that will become the household names of tomorrow. At the same time, we strive to minimize exposure to the consensus, mega cap household names of today. Our emphasis on the sub-$50 billion market capitalization opportunity set is designed to exploit inefficiencies in both analysis and duration in a less followed area of the market. Given the team’s experience in both public equity and private equity, a PE approach to select public investments represents another foundational element of the strategy.
