Although our primary focus is on public investments, the line between private and public markets in technology investing has become increasingly blurred. Proper public company diligence requires extensive knowledge of mid/late-stage private companies within the same competitive orbit. In addition, building relationships with private company disruptors often leads to idea generation in the public equity sphere.

When Cypress Point makes a private investment, our goal is to play a value-added role supporting the management team and/or Board of Directors as they scale the business ahead of an IPO or liquidity event.
